Once upon a time there lived a corporate employee interested in being a solid team player and contributor of high-quality ideas. Fortunately, this person's manager gave the employee a solid green light and encouragement.   "Yes, let's do it" was always the response.  With just a few directives: 1) any ideas or projects must be useful across the entire company (scalable); 2) the activity must align to referenceable good practices and / or standards (reliability); 3) the activity must be easily managed and automated (maintainability).
